progess report

postcards

• partridge in a pear tree - all the pieces appliqued down, not enought space for quilting
• tree in starlight - ruined it trying to satin stitch around the edge with white for snow. will try again with just a straight outline of gold and a gold angelina star
• snowman looking up - embroidered the snowflakes on the backround, have to find a little knit (or do a little knitting) for the scarf. if i had been thinking i would have not cut the scarf out separtely
• still a little fuzzy on how to bind them without it being too bulky

big snowman looking up - the embroidered snowflakes suck big time, not going well on the ribbon or on the aqua stabilizer. think i'm going to have to do them on something more solid and then attach then to the ribbons so that they sway like snowflakes falling (at least it sounds damn good). new to finnish this one this week.

sarah's roman coins - got some pellon and finally got it to fuse to the pink brocade, it took more heat than i thought, but i think it will work out

patty's harmonic convergence - no work on it, haven't even picked out the fabrics yet
